At the heart of our platform is a simple goal: to create a space where members can share honest experiences that are helpful, respectful, and fair to everyone involved.
Reviews are one of the most valuable parts of our community. They help others make informed decisions and help service providers grow and improve. But for reviews to truly serve that purpose, they need to be written with care, clarity, and respect.
That’s why we’ve introduced a moderated review system and clear guidelines for all member reviews.
Why We Moderate Reviews
We noticed that some feedback was drifting away from genuine service experiences and turning into comments that weren’t constructive or fair. In some cases, reviews included trolling behavior or unrelated personal opinions that didn’t reflect actual service experiences.
To protect the integrity of our platform, we now moderate all reviews to ensure they remain useful, respectful, and grounded in real experiences.
Only site members can now leave reviews, and all submissions must meet our community standards before being published.
Our Core Values: Be Kind, Be Fair, Be Honest
Every review should be guided by three simple principles:
Be Kind. Be Fair. Be Honest.
These values shape how we expect members to share feedback:
Be kind in how you express your thoughts
Be fair in how you assess your experience
Be honest about what actually happened
This helps ensure that reviews remain constructive and supportive rather than harmful or misleading.
What Makes a Good Review
A helpful review is one that is based on your direct, personal experience with a service provider. It should focus on the interaction itself and provide meaningful insight for others.
Good reviews typically:
Describe your actual experience clearly
Mention what stood out (positively or negatively)
Stay respectful and balanced in tone
Offer constructive feedback when relevant
Think of your review as something that could genuinely help another member decide whether the service is right for them.
What We Do Not Allow in Reviews
To maintain a respectful and professional environment, certain types of content are not permitted in reviews.
Harsh or Abusive Language
We do not allow insults, hostility, or aggressive comments. Feedback should never be personal or demeaning.
Body Shaming or Appearance-Based Comments
Comments about physical appearance are not appropriate and are not relevant to service quality. We do not tolerate body shaming or objectifying language.
Pricing Discussions
Reviews are not the place for comments about pricing, affordability, or whether something feels “fair.” Pricing varies based on many factors and is handled separately from service feedback.
Reviews Without Personal Experience
Only members who have directly experienced the service may leave a review. Speculation, assumptions, or second-hand opinions are not accepted.
Trolling or Disruptive Content
We remove content that is intentionally provocative, misleading, or designed to disrupt the community rather than contribute meaningfully.
Discrimination or Offensive Content
Any language that targets identity, background, or personal characteristics is strictly prohibited.
How Reviews Are Managed
All reviews are moderated before they appear publicly. This helps us maintain a safe, trustworthy environment for everyone.
If a review does not meet our guidelines, it may be:
Edited for clarity or tone
Rejected before publishing
Repeated violations of our review standards may lead to restrictions on your ability to leave reviews or participate in the platform.
Why This Matters
A strong community is built on trust. When reviews are honest, respectful, and based on real experiences, everyone benefits:
Members get better information
Providers receive meaningful feedback
The platform remains safe and welcoming
We believe feedback should build people up, not tear them down.
A Shared Responsibility
By leaving a review, you’re contributing to the experience of others in our community. We ask that you take that responsibility seriously and approach every review with care.
When in doubt, return to our guiding principle:
Be kind. Be fair. Be honest.
Thank you for helping us maintain a respectful and supportive community.
