Understanding Candy Kisses Online: What We Are (and What We’re Not)

Over the past little while, we’ve seen some questions come up about our recent posts—and we think that’s a good thing.

It means people are paying attention. It means people care about how platforms operate in this industry. And most importantly, it gives us the opportunity to be clear about what we’re building and why.

So let’s walk through it.

We Are Not an Agency

Candy Kisses Online is not an agency.

We do not:

  • assign clients

  • manage anyone’s work

  • set pricing

  • take a percentage of earnings

Every person on the platform operates independently and makes their own decisions about how they work.

This isn’t just a feature of the platform—it’s the foundation of it.

What We Are Building

Candy Kisses Online is a platform designed to support independent workers with tools, visibility, and optional administrative support.

The goal is simple:

To make it easier for people to manage their work on their own terms.

That includes things like:

  • profile visibility

  • communication tools

  • content sharing through blogs

  • access to organizational support

We are building infrastructure—not control.

A Two-Tiered Structure: Platform + Collective

As we grow, it’s important to understand that what we’re building operates across two connected—but separate—layers.

1. Candy Kisses Online (Platform Layer)

This is the digital platform:

  • where members create profiles

  • access tools and visibility features

  • use optional administrative support

  • engage with the community

This is the operational and subscription-based side.

2. Coast to Coast Collective (Nonprofit Layer)

We are in the process of federally incorporating Canada’s Coast to Coast Collective of Companions as a not-for-profit.

This layer will focus on:

  • education and training

  • peer-led support initiatives

  • future lending circles

  • long-term collective development

The collective is not a business and does not manage work. It exists to support community growth and shared resources over time.

Why This Structure Matters

Separating these two layers allows us to:

  • keep the platform focused on tools and infrastructure

  • keep the collective focused on community and long-term support

It also ensures that independence remains protected at every level.

About the “Assistant” Role (Updated)

One of the biggest points of confusion has been around the role we’re currently recruiting for.

We’ve taken that feedback seriously.

Moving forward, we are shifting away from the term “booking agent” and using clearer language:

Administrative Support Assistants

These are independent, peer-based support roles.

Their responsibilities include:

  • helping organize inquiries

  • supporting communication flow

  • assisting with platform navigation

They do not:

  • assign or source clients

  • negotiate rates

  • represent anyone’s work

  • manage bookings in a controlling way

Their role is support—nothing more.

Why We Hire Peer Assistants

Another important piece of this system is who fills these roles.

Candy Kisses Online is built as a peer-to-peer support network, which means:

These roles are filled by sex workers themselves.

Why?

Because lived experience matters.

Peer assistants:

  • understand the realities of the work

  • communicate without judgment

  • recognize boundaries and autonomy

  • provide support that is grounded in real experience

This is not about outsourcing support—it’s about keeping it within the community.

Upcoming Changes: June 2026 Rollout

We want to be transparent about where things are heading next.

Beginning in June 2026, we will be:

✔ Rolling out the Assistant Program

  • introducing trained administrative support assistants

  • integrating support into the platform as an optional tool

✔ Restructuring Subscriptions

  • transitioning from our current free/loyalty-based system

  • introducing tiered subscriptions tied to platform tools and features

This shift allows us to:

  • sustain the platform long-term

  • fairly compensate assistants

  • expand available tools and resources

What This Does Not Change

Even with these updates:

  • no one is required to give up control

  • no one’s work is managed

  • no commissions are taken

The structure stays the same: tools and support, not control.

Why This Matters

We understand why people are cautious.

This industry has seen a lot of models that take control away from workers, often under the guise of “help” or “management.”

That’s exactly what we are trying to move away from.

Candy Kisses Online is built around a different idea:

That independent workers should have access to tools and support without giving up control.

Independence Comes First

Everything we’re building is designed to reinforce one principle:

You stay in control.

You decide:

  • how you work

  • who you work with

  • what you charge

  • how you present yourself

The platform exists to support those decisions—not override them.

Building With Transparency

We’re not pretending to have everything figured out on day one.

This is something we’re building step by step, and we expect it to evolve as we learn and as the community engages with it.

That’s why we’re choosing to be transparent early—even when questions come up.

Open Conversation Matters

If you’ve had questions, concerns, or even skepticism—you’re not alone, and you’re not wrong to ask.

We welcome that.

Because if this platform is going to work, it has to be built with trust—not assumptions.

Moving Forward

We’ll continue to share more about how the platform works, how roles are structured, and how everything fits together as we grow.

For now, the most important thing to understand is this:

Candy Kisses Online is not about managing workers—it’s about supporting independence.

If you have questions or want to be part of shaping this as it develops, we’re open to the conversation.

In Summary

Candy Kisses Online is a platform built to support independent workers—not control them. We are not an agency, and we do not take a percentage of anyone’s earnings.

Our model is structured in two parts:

  • Candy Kisses Online provides tools, visibility, and optional administrative support

  • Canada’s Coast to Coast Collective of Companions (in development) will focus on community support, education, and long-term collective growth

We are transitioning away from the term “booking agent” and introducing Administrative Support Assistants—peer-based roles designed to help with organization and communication, not to manage work or assign clients.

As of June 2026, we will begin rolling out:

  • the Assistant Program

  • a new subscription model to support platform sustainability

Throughout all of this, one thing remains unchanged:

Every member operates independently and stays in control of their own work

And in Conclusion

We know that new platforms—especially in this industry—come with questions, and they should.

What we’re building is intentionally different. It’s not about creating another layer of control, but about building infrastructure that supports independence while keeping decision-making where it belongs: with the individual.

We’re moving forward carefully, transparently, and with input from the community at every step.

If this approach resonates with you, we invite you to follow along, ask questions, and be part of shaping what this becomes.

Because ultimately, this only works if it works for the people it’s built for.
