One of the values at Candy Kisses is that growth should never happen in isolation.
We are building for community, which means listening to community.
Over the past while, many of you have watched us closely, offered feedback, asked questions, and paid attention to the direction we’re taking. We want you to know that we see that, and we value it deeply.
You saw.
You spoke.
We saw.
We learned.
As we continue refining Candy Kisses, we recognize that some of our earlier language and role descriptions did not fully align with the needs of the community we aim to serve.
In particular, the term Booking Agent, and the way that position was originally outlined, did not reflect the values, intention, or support-based model we are building toward.
So we’re making a change.
We will be relaunching this opportunity under a new title:
Candy Kisses Sweet Support Staff
This updated role better represents what the position is truly about—care, communication, organization, assistance, and helping both workers and our growing collective feel supported.
Words matter. Structure matters. Alignment matters.
We are also updating language previously referred to as our online booking system.
Moving forward, this feature will be known as:
Private Requests
This better reflects our intention to create a more thoughtful, discreet, worker-conscious experience that centers connection, boundaries, and choice.
These changes may seem simple on the surface, but for us, they matter.
Because Candy Kisses is not here to copy outdated systems.
We are here to build something better. Something softer. Something smarter. Something rooted in the real needs of the people it serves.
To everyone who has seen us, watched us grow, challenged us, supported us, and cared enough to notice the details:
Thank you.
We are listening.
We are learning.
We are growing.
This is what building together looks like.
Simply the sweetest thing.
Sweetly Signed,
Deja Dawn & Candy Kisses
