Create the Hive. Earn the Hub.

One of the greatest benefits of becoming a Candy Creator is having your own blog on Candy Kisses.

Your blog is more than a place to write articles. It's a place to introduce yourself, share your journey, announce your schedule, post new photos, promote events, celebrate milestones, and connect with your community.

Every time you publish something, you're doing more than updating your profile.

You're helping create hive activity.

And that's what builds communities.

You Don't Have to Be a Writer

One of the biggest misconceptions about blogging is that every post has to be a long story.

It doesn't.

Some of the most valuable blog posts are simple updates that let your followers know what's happening.

You could publish:

  • Your upcoming schedule or travel dates.

  • New photo sets.

  • Upcoming events or appearances.

  • Holiday availability.

  • Service updates.

  • A new website or social media link.

  • A milestone or achievement.

  • A quick hello to your followers.

Your blog is your space to stay connected.

Every post keeps your profile active, gives your followers something new to discover, and helps strengthen your presence on Candy Kisses.

Community Hubs Are a Home for the Hive

One of the questions I 've been asked most often lately is:

"When will my city get a Community Hub?"

My answer is always the same.

When your community creates enough hive activity to need one.

I can't create a community for you.

Only the people within it can do that.

Every Member Profile.

Every listing.

Every blog post.

Every photo.

Every schedule update.

Every event.

Every conversation.

Every new member who joins.

Together, those individual contributions create something much bigger than themselves.

They create hive activity.

When I see that energy growing within a city or region, I know it's time to build a Community Hub.

Not because I decided your city deserves one...

But because your hive does.

A Community Hub is simply a home for the hive.

It's where your community's listings, blogs, interviews, announcements, local updates, and events come together in one place.

It's where visitors discover what's happening.

It's where members support one another.

It's where your community becomes more visible—not because Candy Kisses created it, but because your hive brought it to life.

The more your community shares, the stronger your hive becomes.

The stronger your hive becomes, the more it deserves a home.

Before You Click Publish

Once you publish your blog, it becomes part of your professional presence on Candy Kisses.

Take a few extra minutes to make sure you're proud of what you're sharing.

I recommend proofreading your article at least two or three times before clicking Publish.

As you review your post, check for:

  • Spelling and grammar.

  • Missing or repeated words.

  • Formatting issues.

  • Working links.

  • Correct names, dates, prices, and other important details.

Reading your post aloud is one of the easiest ways to catch mistakes.

There Are No Edits After Publishing

At this time, published blog posts cannot be edited.

Once you click Publish, that version is permanent.

If you later notice a mistake or decide you'd like to make changes, you'll need to:

  1. Delete the published article.

  2. Create a new version.

  3. Proofread it again.

  4. Publish the updated article.

Taking a few extra minutes before publishing can save you a lot of work later.

A Note About Google Indexing

To help our members reach a wider audience, I personally request Google indexing for Candy Creator blog posts approximately 48 hours after they're published.

I intentionally wait because Google doesn't reward websites that repeatedly submit pages for indexing only to have those pages removed or replaced shortly afterward.

If you notice a mistake or decide you'd like to remove your post, please do so within the first 48 hours.

After that, your article may be submitted to Google and begin appearing in search results, where it can continue introducing new readers to you and your work.

Every Post Matters

Whether you're publishing a 2,000-word story or a simple schedule update, your contribution matters.

Every blog post adds another voice.

Another conversation.

Another connection.

Another spark of hive activity.

And that's how Candy Kisses grows.

Not because I build communities for you.

Because you create the hive.

I simply give it a home.
